I Like Going Places
I’ve been traveling since my folks put me on a plane to Germany at the tender age of one and a half. Every winter break or long weekend was an occasion for a trip somewhere, whether that be across the world or in our Rocky Mountain backyard. So I suppose you could say that I’m carrying on a family legacy. But where things really escalated was when I took my first solo trip to Austin, 8 years ago.
Since then I’ve barely missed a beat. It took a global pandemic to keep me at home for more than 6 months consecutively, but after that I went right back out. And my passion for travel has only gotten deeper as I’ve continued exploring, to the point where now, I consider it more of a lifestyle than a hobby; my primary identity. Everybody’s got to have a “thing,” and travel is mine.
