Most good, social hostels have a bar on site that helps to loosen the guests up and foster connections. Some are much bigger and serve bigger hostels, but my favorites are the small ones run by volunteers. They’re friendlier, and aren’t there to get you to spend a lot of money.
This is the hostel bar at Jimmy Jumps Hostel, in Lithuania. It was run by Marta, a twenty-something year old Valenciana who also led us around town and organized games.
